Willis L. Barchus passed Friday the 30th of July at Where the Heart Is in Burlington, WA.

Born in October 1934 in Washougal Washington to the late Willis Kermit Barchus and Florence Barchus (Hoots). Willis married Montie O. Smith in 1958 and had two children, Terry L. Barchus and Lisa M. Barchus (Kerr).

Willis was a veteran of the Korean War and served 4 years in the Navy and 20 years in the Air Force.  He continued supporting his love of aerospace and joined The Boeing Company after his military career and retired October 31 ^st 1993.  Willis had several passions, his wife, flying airplanes, hunting, cars, radio controlled airplanes and raising exotic birds.  Our father was much loved while here on earth and will be dearly missed, but it delights my heart to know that he has joined my mother in Heaven to continue to share their beautiful afterlife together.

Willis was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by Wayne Barchus (Brother) and children Terry L. Barchus and Lisa M. Barchus (Kerr). Also grandchildren Bryan Z. Kerr, Austin R. Kerr and great grandchild Layla Grace Kerr and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 13th at Anderson Cemetery Stanwood, WA.
