William (Bill) John Bradley, age 88 of Camano Island, WA passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Bill was born August 20,1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Colin Bradley and Monica (Connachan) Bradley. His family moved to the Vancouver, B.C. area at age 7. When he was 15, his family moved to California, where Bill eventually met and married Martha Grimminger on September 28,1956. They had three children together.

Bill was a carpenter/contractor his entire adult life. After moving from California in 1961, they eventually settled on Camano Island in 1973, where he built many homes in the area. He also volunteered as a firefighter on Camano for several years.

Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, crabbing and shrimping. He loved spending time with friends and family, especially at the beach, barbecues and golfing. He always enjoyed a good laugh and was known for his quick wit. His unique sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Bill is survived by his brother; Gary Bradley, his children; Gary Bradley (Diana), Linda Thayer, and Barbara Harris (Stan), his grandchildren; Monica Wickstrom (Blake), Brandon Thayer, Joseph Harris, and Joshua Harris (Kelsey), his greatgrandchildren; Beau, Bretley, Edmund and Colin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, his parents, his son-in-law Bret Thayer, his nieces; Sherry Bradley and Jourdan Bradley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Camano Chapel. Memorial gifts may be made to Camano Island Fire & Rescue (811 N Sunrise Blvd, Camano Island, WA 98282) or Camano Center (606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano Island, WA 98282).
