William O. Bloom

William O. Bloom was born on August 23, 1951 in Mt Vernon, Washington to Lee and Dorothy (Sande) Bloom.

He passed away August 30, 2019 in Stanwood.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Bosco and Eva Bloom and John and Beate Sande. Going before him was his sister, Barbara Lee Bloom Cakarins and his parents Lee and Dorothy.

He is survived by his brother Robert (Judi) of Stanwood and his nephews, David (Arianne) of Portland and Collin (Kristin) of New Castle. Also surviving are his 4 great nephews; Calvin, Clay, Quinn and Briggs. Plus a large number of cousins that he was very fond of.

Bill graduated from Stanwood High School with the class of 1970. He served in the air force reserves at McChord AF base as a load master for C-141 cargo jets for a number of years and saw many foreign destinations.

With his father, Lee and his brother Bob, they owned Three B's Construction LLC for many years. He also drove truck for the company but as his health declined he retired. In the 1970's he worked on the Alaskan pipeline with the father and brother. It was during this time he was diagnosed with Lupus and returned home for treatment. He enjoyed his cars, muscle cars and car shows.

Services will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran church in Stanwood on September 6, 2019 at 11 o'clock with a reception immediately following at the Sons of Norway.
