It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tim Tobin, age 68, who passed very unexpectedly away on September 4, 2026.

Tim was born to Evelyn “Sally” and Donald Tobin. He will be remembered for the life he shared with those around him and for the memories he created with his family and friends. His presence brought something special to the lives of the people who knew and loved him, and his loss leaves a heavy void that can never truly be filled.

Tim is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Breanna Tobin and Melissa Tobin; his granddaughters, Willow and Wrenley; his sister, Diane Bross and her husband, Norm Bross; his brother, Kevin Tobin and his wife, Cathy Tobin; and his nephew and nieces, Nick, Tina, and Amanda, and their loved ones.

Tim was also blessed with an amazing extended family in Canada, including Lois and Gary Plant, and so many other family members and loved ones who shared a special bond with him. The distance never diminished the love and connection he had with his family, and they will forever hold a special place in his story.

Family was an important part of Tim’s life. He treasured the connections he made with those around him, and the memories, laughter, stories, and love shared over the years will continue to bring comfort to those who knew him.

Although our hearts are heavy with his passing, we are grateful for the time we were given with Tim. We will remember the laughter, the conversations, the stories, and the special moments that made him who he was. Most of all, we will cherish the love he shared with his daughters and granddaughters and the special bonds he had with his family near and far.

Tim will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at Bertelsen Winery in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Tim’s life, share memories, tell stories, laugh, cry, and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
