IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas F
Minne
January 31, 1962 – January 1, 2021
Thomas F. Minne
January 31, 1962 - January 1, 2021
Loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend
Tom was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in December 2018. He lost his courageous battle on January 1, 2021 passing away in his home, as he wished with his wife and daughter by his side, lovingly supporting him until the end.
Tom moved to Stanwood in 1978, He graduated from Stanwood High in 1980. Tom married in 1986 and moved his family to Camano Island in 1994. He was a hard worker whose hands were rarely idle. He went from being a small town farm boy cooking at the Viking restaurant to being an accomplished machinist at New Tech Industries in Mukilteo for 31 years where he formed deep and lasting friendship.
Tom enjoyed the outdoors from riding dirt bikes and quads on the trails and in the sand dunes, inner tubing in the snow, trips to the ocean, and watching the sunset. He enjoyed driving over the Mountain pass to Eastern WA which he dreamed of retiring to.
He achieved his dream of crossing the North Cascades on his Harley. He loved to ride and to be free with the wind in his hair and the sun shinning down on him. He got great enjoyment from picking up his granddaughter, Lacey, on his Harley and cruising the Island.
Tom was a jokester with a huge sense of humor and a grin to match. His smile would brighten our days and his craziness would keep us laughing and smiling. He had a huge caring heart that touched a lot of lives.
Tom was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. His love for them was eternal. He was preceded in death by his Father Albert and Mother Elenor. He is survived by his Wife, Wilma of 34 years, his Son Justin, Daughter Jules (Anthony). His Grandchildren Avery, Tyson, Jayden, and Lacey. His Sister Kathy, Brothers Chuck, Rick, and Joe. Brother in law David, Sisters in law Debbie and Lori and numerous other family members and friends. His family was his life, always surrounded by his kids and grandkids. He will live on in our hearts forever.
He is finally at peace and the pain is gone. He will Shine down on us and guide us forever.
Thank you to Hospice of the Northwest for their support, guidance and encouragement.
