Thomas William Grimm
September 20, 1950 - February 8, 2017

Tom, 66, left us for the big truck yard in the sky on February 8, 2017 surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. Tom lived life to the fullest and made it fun for all of those lucky enough to share in his adventures!

Born to William and Rosemary Grimm, Tom spent his childhood on the family farm in Arlington, WA as a 4th generation farm kid. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1969. After high school, he began driving truck locally, which grew into long haul for some time.

Tom eventually settled down with the love of his life on the original homestead where he and his wife raised two daughters. He enjoyed being part of the pit crew for #2 at Evergreen Speedway for many years. He also had a love for anything classic car or hot rod related. Tom spent countless hours and many weekends with his classics, at shows and events with his good friends of the Rod Father. He also enjoyed his summers on the tractor making hay, followed by a cold beer.

Tom is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl; daughters Hillary Allan (Andy) and Jessica Bailey (Craig); aunts Martha Young and Dorothy Carroll; as well as many cousins, extended family, friends, neighbors and his kitty Melvin.

A celebration of life for all family and friends will be held on Sunday February 19, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Viking Hall in Silvana. (1331 Pioneer Hwy, Stanwood, WA 98292) Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Sunday Feb. 17,2019 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery for close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to: Zion Lutheran Cemetery, P.O. Box 100, Silvana, WA 98287 (Little White Church on the Hill - for gravel and road repairs)
