Tena Ashford, loving mother, devoted wife and caring friend to all that knew her, passed away unexpectedly on Mar. 6, 2017 in Everett, WA.
Tena was born on August 29th 1976, in Klamath Falls to Kathleen L and Mark Ashford.
Tena is survived by her parents Kathleen and Mark; her husband Jay Cobb; her children Dylan and Branden; sister Shelley; two brothers Chris and Mark; niece Jean; and her step-grandmother Lynette Ward.
During her childhood, she enjoyed trips to Klamath Falls to visit her family and feed the cows, go fishing, drive quads in the woods and of course enjoy all of the animals.
On August 11, 2009, she married her best friend, Jay Cobb, in a Florida beachfront wedding. They had two beautiful children Dylan and Branden. Her children were her pride and joy. Most of her passions revolved around the boys. She had recently taken up Taekwondo with them and all three quickly advanced to purple belts together.
She was a lover of Halloween and enjoyed dressing up each year with her family. She was an avid lover of all animals throughout her life and would do anything the help an animal in need. Some of her other loves were Tim Burton, Disney movies, all things Hello Kitty, Johnny Depp and crafts with her boys.
Charismatic, funny, and charming, Tena was a shining soul and managed to put a smile on the faces of those around her. She touched the hearts of everyone that she met. Her kind spirit was contagious and seemingly radiated around her. She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all that knew her.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 pm on March 13 at the Great Hall at Cama Beach State Park located at 1880 West Camano Drive. Discover Pass is required for parking. If you do not currently have one, they can be purchased for $10 at the entrance.
