Susan Scoles Haatveit, age 62 of Stanwood, passed away peacefully at home on May 30th, surrounded by family at her side. She was born in Whittier, California to Larry and Frances Glaine ( Ellis) Scoles, and was the 6th of 11 children.

mom  enjoyed watching, rooting on, and attending Mariner games. She loved going to her sister's house to watch the Seahawks with friends and family. She enjoyed cooking special foods for family gatherings and made the best chili verde! She was an expert Jello shot maker. She enjoyed going out to the Casino, but most of all she loved her big family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Glaine Olson, and Larry and Shirley Scoles, her brother Steve in 2020, and her sister Robin, just 3 weeks ago.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Dave, her daughters Jessica (Richard), Jennifer (Chris), Amy and bonus daughter Kristina, 7 granddaughters, Shailee, Kayla, Mckenna, Alex, Anna, Autumn,and Jordan, 3 Grandsons, Aiden, James, Christian, 4 Great-Granddaughters, Kairi, Kennedy, Aubree, and Brooklynn, 2 Great-Grandsons, Kingston and Cash, Brothers, Mike, Rick, Jerry, Ron and David, Sisters, Barb, Laurie, and Colleen and many nieces, nephews  and extended family.

Mom was a fighter and fought for many years. She can finally breathe. Right on! Right on! Right on!
