IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven Wayne
Molitor
December 6, 1954 – September 7, 2020
Steven "Kramer" Molitor 12/05/1954 - 09/07/2020
At the age of 65, Steven Wayne Molitor passed away unexpectedly in his home, in Stanwood, Washington. Steven was born in Oak Harbor, Washington, on December 5th, 1954 to Cyril and Eleanor (Noggle) Molitor. Steve traveled far and wide during his childhood, as his father Cy was in the The United States Air Force. Some of the places he spent his childhood were Japan, Turkey, Hawaii, Minnesota, and Washington, to name a few. Steve especially enjoyed his teenage years in Brainerd, Minnesota, as that is where he found his niche in sports. After school Steve joined the United States Navy, where he served his time and was honorably discharged. After his time in the Navy, Steve worked various jobs usually involving carpentry and driving truck. Steve made his way back to Minnesota, where he met and married Koreen Ziemke on May 2, 1981. From this union came two sons; Jonas and Lucas Molitor. Steve eventually made his way back to the state of his birth, residing in Camano Island, and later Stanwood, Washington.
Steve ("Kramer") was a friend to many. His friends would say he was always there to lend a helping hand and to have a good laugh along the way. Steve enjoyed the outdoors and everything it had to offer; camping, fishing, gardening, hunting, hiking, and being on the boat were among his favorite times. Steve loved music, teaching himself to play the guitar by ear. He played in many jam sessions and bands with friends and family throughout the years. He was known to be able to play any request on the guitar given to him and to be able to improvise during any performance. Steve enjoyed board games (especially with his sons when they were young), war history, and following sports. He loved football; a loyal Vikings and Seahawks fan throughout the years. Steve would visit with anyone and make friends everywhere he went.
Steve was proceeded in death by his parents; Eleanor Hatfield, and Cyril and Hazel Molitor; Step brother, Carlyle Jokstad.
He is survived by his children, Jonas Molitor & Lucas (Tiffany) Molitor; 5 grandchildren, Ashton, Tatum, and Rhiannon (Jonas), and Jett and Jack (Lucas); 2 brothers, Rance (Sonia) Molitor and Ronnie (Missy) Molitor; 2 sisters, Kellee (Mike) Vivens and Kimberlee Winters; 2 step brothers, Carlton (Cheryl) Jokstad and Carl Jokstad; nephews and nieces and many extended family members. Steve is also survived by his special friend Diane Dodd and the many friends he made along the way, that became his family.
Rest in Peace Steve...Fly away...
