Obituary

Stanley Harold Madsen

Born July 19, 1933, "Stac's" made his entrance joining his large family at home on the farm in Norman. The youngest of twelve siblings, he passed away May 20, 2022, at the age of 88 at Skagit Valley Hospital and will be laid to rest in the Stanwood Cemetery.

Stac's grew up in the Stanwood area attending school through the 8th grade until such time he needed to work on the family farm. As a young husband he drove truck for Floe Transfer and spent the majority of his career at Twin City Foods. He was a Stan of all trades, for he was mechanically inclined and could make the sweetest bird houses to designing and building commercial food processing lines. There really wasn't much that he couldn't build, repair, or operate. You name it and odds were, he could do it and do it well.

Stanley is survived by his daughters Debi Stuller (Pat) and Tami Schorno (Ken); grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Madisen and Quinten Schorno, sister June Murphy, and numerous nephews and nieces, and many friends and acquaintances.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Minnie Madsen, siblings Martine, Margaret, Norman, Robert, Ruth, Edna, Peter, Olaf, Doris, and Bernice. Also, his former wife and his high school sweetheart Jean and in-laws Levi and Bernice Sherk (Allen) and later in life his partner Carol Lee Crane.

Things to remember: Milk can #307; his dog Laddy, "10-4 Good Buddy, come on", 5pm "Skol", his Norwegian pride, fun sayings and "I love you more".

Dad, we love you more!

A celebration of life near his birthday in July will be announced later
