Shirley June Ludwick, 88, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016 in Stanwood, Washington.

Born in Arlington, Washington on June 3, 1928, she was the daughter of Clarence Flage and Frieda Gamoll Flage. She lived in the Stanwood and Camano Island, Washington area her entire life. She graduated from the 1946 Class of Stanwood. She worked as a Secretary at Hamilton Lumber until she eventually married her husband Ervin K. Ludwick and became a Housewife.

She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the Son's of Norway, and the D.O. Pearson House Museum, and the 1905 Camano City Schoolhouse Foundation Washington Historic Site. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, gardening, camping, fishing, playing cards and bingo with her friends at the Stanwood Senior Center, volunteering, and spending time at the beach. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heartedness, and friendliness to all.

She is survived by her youngest son David Ludwick, daughter in laws Elisa Ludwick and Theresa Ludwick, grandchildren Justin Ludwick, Erik Ludwick, Brett and Kristin Ludwick, and Nicole and Nick Mosteller, great grandchildren Cameron and Luke Ludwick, Sofia and Lincoln Mosteller, and sister in law Margerie Flage. She was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Frieda Flage, brothers Donald and Alfred Flage, sister in law Geraldine Flage, husband Ervin K. Ludwick, and sons Roger and Craig Ludwick.

The memorial service will be held on December 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
