Shannon Marie Ryan

Shannon passed on on October 13th, 2026. She was 54 years old, she was born on September 6th 1972. Shannon was born and raised in Olympia, and was living and working in Federal Way WA when she passed away.

Shannon died of a heart attack as the result of end stage kidney disease. She was in St Francis Hospital and was attended by her mother Phoebe, son Alden, and his fiancé Hannah.

Shannon studied and became a registered nurse, she worked as a director of nursing for Life Care Centers for several years, and at her last job she cared for folks with developmental disabilities at Dahlia Living, where she loved her work and was appreciated by everyone.

Shannon was married to Alden Yale in 1998 and she gave birth to their son Alden in the same year. Later, as a single mother she managed working and doing a fantastic job raising her son.

Shannon is survived by her Mother Phoebe W. Hein of Newport OR, her step father Bob Hein, her son Alden Yale of Edgewood WA, her brother Bill Ryan of McCleary WA, nephew Mike Ryan of Camano Island, WA, and her grandmother Cathy Ryan of Olympia WA. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ryan of Olympia, WA.

A celebration of life will be held for Shannon on November 20th, 2026 at Brooklake Church located at 629 S 356th St Federal Way, WA from 5pm to 7pm.
