Samuel Parks Johns

Born July 6, 1927 To Ruth N and Miles S Johns Sr in Seattle, Washington

Died October 26,2021 in Stanwood, Washington

Sam delivered groceries as a teenager, worked at the post office then joined the US Navy in 1944.  After discharge, Sam worked for Inland Petroleum Co as office staff for a year then became a driver for several years.  At the same time, Sam had his own fertilizer business.

Sam married Norma Couvelier in February, 1949 and they went on to have three sons, Mark, Dave and Joe.

Sam worked for Schetky Equipment and then Hennessy Co until he became a self employed agent for Richfield Oil.  This began his era of being a well respected owner of Service Station Supply, Petroleum Distributing and finally Pacific Trucking.

Sam is preceded in death by his wife, Norma C. Johns. Now, they are together in eternity.

Sam is survived by his three sons, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, as well as many more family and friends.

Interment at a private ceremony.
