Rosalie Hargrave, age 88, of Stanwood, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, in a Nursing Home with Hospice care.  She was born April 17, 1935, in East Stanwood, the daughter of Adolph and Audrey Nelson.  She graduated from Stanwood High School in 1953.  Rosalie was married March 19, 1955, to Wayne Hargrave. Wayne and Rosalie took over the family businesses, Twin City Auto Rebuild and Twin City Towing of Stanwood, serving the Stanwood and Camano Island Community until their retirement in 1985.

Rosalie enjoyed puzzles and playing Scrabble while visiting with family.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, and a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Stanwood.

Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Wendy Mercer; and two grandsons and family; Cody and Erin Mercer, and great grandson Leo;  Colt and Katelyn Mercer, and great granddaughters Evie and Emma.  We all miss you, and love you always.  Rosalie was preceded in death by her son, Scott, in 1989; and her husband, Wayne Hargrave in 2005.

A graveside service will be held at the Anderson Cemetery in Stanwood on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1pm with Pastor Bankson officiating.
