Roger Allen Ludwick, age 60, passed away peacefully at his family home on Camano Island, surrounded by his family on December 1, 2012.
Roger was born September 9, 1952 in Mount Vernon, Washington to Ervin and Shirley Ludwick. He graduated from Stanwood High School in 1970. In 1979, he married Theresa West. He was a resident of Stanwood and Camano Island his entire life. Roger worked at Twin City Foods for over forty years at the Arlington location. He had a true passion for music his entire life and was in many bands. He loved spending time with his family especially his three children Brett, Nicole, and Erik. He was also very proud to be a grandfather of Brett's son Luke and Nicole's daughter Sophia.
Roger is survived by his wife Theresa, his mother, Shirley, his brother, David, his children; son, Brett and his wife Kristin, daughter, Nicole and her husband Nicholas Mosteller, and son, Erik. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sophia Mosteller and Luke Ludwick. He was preceded in death by his brother Craig and father Ervin.
During Roger's four year battle with cancer, he and his family received lots of support and help, in which the family would like to sincerely thank all of his friends, band mates, the West family and all of his medical providers from Seattle Cancer Care.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Roger has touched are invited to reminisce, grieve and support each other on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 11:00am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanwood with a reception immediately following
