IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Villano
April 10, 1953 – April 17, 2025
Robert "Bob" Villano, aged 72, passed away on April 17, 2025, after bravely battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Originally from Denver, Colorado, Bob made his home in the Gig Harbor area of Washington for 18 years.
Bob is survived by his wife and partner of 26 years, Naomi; his children and their spouses Rocco and Chanda; Erin and Mike; and Nicole and Rasmus; and his beloved grandchildren Zoe, Ari, Keira, Sebastian, and Tjalfe. He is also remembered by his siblings and their spouses Ann and Mark; Colleen and Jim; Danette and Sam; and Jim. Bob also loved his brothers-in-law Tom and Dave and sisters-in-law Annie and Jennifer and his 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Villano.
Bob earned a degree in Business from Western State College and spent much of his career in corporate food sales, where his excellent sales skills led to the introduction of numerous new products and brands.
A man of many interests, Bob enjoyed fishing, golf, horse racing, and French subtitled mysteries. Most of all, he treasured time with his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared laughter, games, bubble farming in the hot tub, watching cartoons and Battlebots while eating Cheetos, and his role as their ever-watchful "Safety Officer"—a role lovingly delegated for Naomi to continue. He also enjoyed watching the grandkids' football, lacrosse, and soccer games either streamed or in person, complete with cheering and clapping.
In retirement, Bob and Naomi created a haven on their property with flowers, vegetable gardens, ponds, and chickens—all tended with love. Bob's humor, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He always kept us laughing and we will miss him greatly.
In Lieu of Flowers, Donations to the ALS Association are appreciated
