Obituary

Randall A. Lee passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Everett, WA on Monday, September 11, 2024.  Known to family and friends as Randy, he will be greatly missed.

Randy was born in Seattle, WA on February 15, 1962 to Alton and Evelyn Lee (nee Hedman).  As a young child the family moved to Manhattan Beach, CA where Randy was active in school and sports; in addition he made many valued friendships and thoroughly enjoyed the southern California lifestyle. The family eventually returned to Seattle where Randy attended Ballard High School.

Randy loved sports and consistently had the position of pitcher on his many baseball teams over his early years.  He coached Little League in his early 20s and greatly enjoyed this role of sharing his talents and encouraging young people.  His love for sports continued over his lifetime as he supported his favorite teams as an enthusiastic fan of the Seattle Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks. He maintained a wealth of knowledge on the statistics of his favorite players and watching sporting events was a favorite pastime.

Among the many characteristics and talents Randy is remembered for include his mathematical and mechanical abilities; his creative cooking; his excellent sense of humor; and his interest in and devotion to friends and family.

Randy is survived by his brother-in-law and sister, Richard and Sheryl Schroeder, his niece, Ava Schroeder; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and other members of his extended family.  Randy was a loving son, brother and uncle, in addition to being a valued friend.  With gratitude for shared moments, his family and friends will cherish memories of Randy.
