Nancy Dorothea Lipscy (Cochran), affectionately known as "Bug," passed away on June 11, 2024, in Stanwood, Washington, at the age of 57. Born on June 28, 1966, in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was a beacon of kindness, creativity, and generosity throughout her life.

Nancy graduated from Booker T Washington High School and dedicated much of her career to nurturing young minds as a childcare worker at SONShine Preschool. She also served the community through her customer service role at Walmart. Nancy's passions extended into her personal life where she enjoyed drawing, coloring, and solving puzzles. She had a particular fondness for cats, which reflected her caring and patient nature.

Known as the neighborhood mom, Nancy's adventurous spirit and kid-centric approach made her a cherished figure in her community. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Lipscy; daughters, Cassandra Warrick, Emmaleigh Lipscy, and Bryanna Stavency; grandchildren, Darrell, Audreeanna, Bryson, and Maddilynne Warrick; sister, Janet Warren; and brother, Joseph Cochran. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Edward Cochran.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on her birthday, June 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heritage Park in Stanwood, Washington. Details can be found on Nancy's Facebook page.

Nancy's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many and she will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
