Nadine L. Huntington, 79, of Camano Island passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born August 6, 1931 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Nadine moved to the Stanwood area as a young girl and graduated from high school in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Ranny Huntington in 1952. She worked at
Larson's Carpets/Post Office and the Josephine Sunset home before retiring in 2001.
She will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and here incredible homemade bread and rolls.
Nadine is survived by her brother Donald Schroedl, daughter Sheryl (Roger) Erickson, Son Reid (Cathy) Huntington, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ransom T. Huntington, Her parents John and Harriet Schroedl, one grandson, two great grandsons and a nephew.
Public graveside services will be held Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at
Camano Lutheran Cemetery, Camano Island, with a coffee time following at the Usalady
Ladies Aid Hall at 78 Utsalady Road, Camano Island.
Special viewing will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Home Thursday and Friday Sept. 9 & 10 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00P.M.
