Myrduff Melvin Forner

Myrduff Melvin Forner of Warm Beach Senior Center passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 16, 2015.
Myrduff was born on a farm in Knox, North Dakota in 1923. When he was young, his family moved to Washington State where Myrduff stayed and raised his family.
Myrduff studied at Western Washington University in Bellingham and at the University of Washington. He served in the Army Air Force, stationed in Italy during WWII as a member of the 15th Air Force. After leaving the service, he worked for the Sears Company for many years and became the Manager of the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Myrduff attended services at Warm Beach and was active in his community. He volunteered helping with lunches on the weekends, played pinochle and he loved a good game of cribbage.
Myrduff is survived by his wife, Joan Forner, his son Murphy Michael Forner, his daughter-in-law Mary Forner, son-in-law Roy Berdan, 6 grand-children 11 great-grand-children, 8 step-children-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Josephine Stroebel Forner and his daughter Niki Jean Berdan.
Myrduff will be very deeply missed and will be remembered for his gentle nature and kindness to others.
Memorial service will be held Saturday January 23, 2016 at the Warm Beach Senior Community Beachwood Lounge At 2:00 P.M.
