Mitchell A "Mickey" Strickland
Mitchell went home to the Lord on December 19, 2103 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Catherine Strickland of Kingston, GA and brother: Mark Brown He is survived by his brothers and sisters all of Georgia, Barbara Sue Brown, Jerry and Patricia Strickland, Tommy and Cathy, Larry and Jenny, Robert and Cissy, Davy and Candace, Cathy and J.D., Karen Strickland. Mickey is survived by his wife Shirley, two sons and a daughter, four grandchildren, Craig and Heather, Hannah and Jacob, Kevin and Sarah, Paige and Cristie and Wayne, Emily and at the end of his life he learned of our fifth grandchild to be born in July to Kevin and Sarah of Anacortes, WA. A Celebration of Mitchell's life will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013, 1:00 pm at the Cedarhome Baptist Church. Mitchell will be placed at Tahoma National Cemetery during the summer of 2014.
