Obituary

Michael Edward Gribble, 69, passed away March 11, 2014 in Everett, Washington.   He was born February 5, 1945 to Edward and Marlys Gribble. He graduated from Highline High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 31, 1964 to July 30, 1969. He finished his education at WSU receiving a bachelor's degree in 1977.

Michael's hobbies include golf, playing cards with his parents, fishing and especially cooking. He worked many years in food services for the schools and loved interacting with the students. Michael was nominated Man of the Year in Ferndale in 1986 due to his outgoing service and care of those around him. He started a scholarship and was known to say "Anybody who asks me for help gets it".

Michael is survived by many many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Marlys Gribble.

Many thanks to Sherry Bingham and family, Kirsten, Brittney, Trish, Hope, Cassandra J. & Cassandra R., Kaity & Ruth for their services the last few years of his life. Also, thanks to the staff of Providence Hospital, the VA, and the Visiting Angels.

Memorials may be made in Michael's name to the Make a Wish Foundation.

At Michael's request, no services will be held.
