Merle C Bruce, 94, of Camano Island, died Friday May 8, 2015 in Seattle at The Stratford Assisted living Facility where he has lived since December 1, 2013. He passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was born August 7, 1920 in Red Oak, Iowa.

He leaves his beloved daughter, Jeannine K. Forhan of Seattle; two of his three grandsons, Marcus L. and wife Stacey McKenzie and Michael E. Forhan of Seattle also; Great Granddaughter, Makayla L. Forhan & Great Great Grand baby Due October- 2015; and Great Grandson, Austin L. McKenzie of Seattle also. He will be missed.

Memorial service is being held on May 30th at Bethany Lutheran Church, Green Lake, 7400 Woodlawn Ave. N. Seattle, WA. at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Annette Anderson-Lux officiating. Private cremation under direction of Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood, WA. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church at Green Lake in care of Merle C. Bruce Memorial Fund.
