Mary Janice Freeman went to be with her Lord on February 12th 2020.

She was born the eldest of 13 children on August 12, 1924 in Walla Walla, WA to Edward L. and Henrietta E. Hall.

Mary is survived by her children: Judith & Art Nelson, Denis C. Watson, Jon & Debra Freeman, Jonelle & Mark Merisko, Don & Roxy Freeman, Dan & Becky Freeman, and Dennis & Michele Freeman.

Mary is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-granddaughters.

Mary also leaves behind her sister, Joan Burnett and brothers Robert Sloan, Jerry, Wayne, and David Hall and a rather large extended family.

Mary Janice graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1942. She has lived in the Seattle area since 1947. She retired from the Boeing Company in 1987 after 23 years of service.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling (especially along the Oregon coast), fishing at Lake Curlew, and visiting family in Blaine, WA. She was an expert in gardening, quilting, and crocheting.

Momma said she was most content and blessed in her life by her Lord who sustained her always.

Our Momma was a kind, loving, determined woman who cared deeply for her family, friends, and the world around her.

Mary's family wishes to thank the wonderful people at Josephine Caring Community for their loving care and concern of their mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's/Dementia research or a children's charity would be appreciated.

Services for Mary Freeman will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 1pm. Visitation before the service begins at 10:30am. The service will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Home located at: 27001 88th Ave NW, Stanwood, WA.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hillsdale Cemetery 4504 Californian
