Mary Linn Culbertson, 72 of Burlington, Washington died at Where The Heart Is Assisted Living of Vascular Dementia on Sunday February, 11th 2024.

She was born in Boone, Iowa in 1951 to E. Stanton and Mary Miller. She grew up in Omaha Nebraska, went to Brownell Talbot prep school and graduated from Westside Highschool in 1970. She received a bachelor's degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she also was married on April 20, 1973. They moved to Boulder, Colorado where she had her son in 1975. There they worked with the mentally ill and in homeless ministries. They enjoyed spending summers at her family's ranch in Wyoming as well as international travel. She was an inspired watercolor artist and singer/songwriter. In 2013 they moved to the Towers in San Antonio, Texas where they enjoyed the vibrant and welcoming community. She was widowed in 2014 but remained active with art, golf and billiards. In 2023 she moved to Washington State to be with her son and daughter-in-law where each day was filled with joy and laughter.

Linn is preceeded in death by her parents E. Stanton and Mary Miller, husband Eugene Culbertson and is survived by her son Stanton (Noel) Culbertson, granddaughters Torrey Culbertson and Emma (Blake) Schoenbachler, and Cousins Jay (Cindy) Miller, Louise (Bruce) Golian and Paul (Cindy) Miller.

The funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Stanwood, WA on Friday February, 16th at 11:00 am.
