Marilyn Templeton, 86, of Stanwood, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. She was born on March 8, 1939, and grew up throughout the Puget Sound area before moving to Stanwood, where she met the love of her life, Floyd Templeton. They were married for 66 years.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Floyd; children Karen Templeton‑Zender (Perry) and Tom Templeton; grandchildren Jessica, Rachel (Mark), Chase, and Brandon (Meagan); great‑grandchildren Lily, Piper, and Luke; brother Glen (Nancy) Davis; brother‑in‑law John Templeton; half‑sister Diane Underwood; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and several beloved relatives.

Marilyn worked briefly for Boeing before dedicating herself to raising her family. She was active in school activities, and cherished years spent camping and boating in the San Juan Islands. In 1975, she and Floyd took over Highland Cleaners, where Marilyn managed the family business with warmth and care until retirement.

She loved the Oregon Coast, antiquing, and quilting with her church community. Marilyn will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, and her deep love for family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanwood on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
