Loyd J Hatfield, 85, of Arlington, WA passed away peacefully on March 12, 2020. Loyd was born on August 8, 1934 in Gilbert, West Virginia to Luther and Josephine Hatfield. When Loyd was 17 he joined the Navy and was active for over 20 years. In 1989, Loyd married Susan Shultz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Luther and Josephine Mabel, brother; Dillard Lee, sisters; Mary Lou, Frances Ann, and Doris Helen. Loyd is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan Hatfield, daughters; Deanne and Denise, 5 grandchildren, sisters; Gail and Edna Sue, brothers; Daniel Glenn, and Steven Edward, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please donate in Loyd's name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. At Loyd's request there will be no services.
