IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lowana "Lou"
Pearl Krewson
June 28, 1932 – August 8, 2024
Lowana "Lou" Pearl Krewson
Born June 28, 1932, passed on August 8, 2024 at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA. Born to George and Genevieve Worst in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Mom was very active in high school being a cheerleader. When her parents divorced, she followed her mother to Vancouver, WA where she ended up settling.
Mom married Robert Krewson and had three boys with him. She went into business with her mother and Robert, and they purchased the Yellow Cab Company in Vancouver. They ran the company for a few years until tragedy struck. Mom's mother was fatally shot during a robbery of her cab. Mom never really got over this. We moved up north to Everett, WA for a few years and then finally settled at Warm Beach. While living at Warm Beach mom worked for the Stanwood News and the Everett Herald. Mom won awards for her contributions in the newspaper business. When mom retired, she purchased a lot at Port Susan Camping Club on the Tulalip Reservation. She bought a place in Apache Junction, AZ and snow birded there for a few years. When she stopped traveling, she retired to Warm Beach Manor, where she lived for years.
Mom was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stan Jennings, her son David Krewson. She is survived by her children; D'alane, Steve, Sonja, Danny, and Joe. Too many grandkids and great grandkids to list. Mom will be greatly missed by us all.
