LouAnn Riggs of Warm Beach Washington passed away at Josephine's Caring Place of Stanwood Washington of a stroke. She had been residing at Josephine's for 18 months with dementia.
LouAnn was born in North Bend, Nebraska, to Mynard and Stella Schulte. She joins her parents, sister Dorothy Singley, and brother Denis Schulte in heaven.
LouAnn was very passionate about her family; they were her pride and joy. She loved to cook and bake; and owned and operated "LouAnn's Bake Shop" which specialized in wedding cakes. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the outdoors and loved to play cards. She was an active member of the Warm Beach Community Association as well as an involved and active member of the Catholic church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Gordon Riggs; her sisters Doris Launer and Kathi Fox; sons Greg Riggs, Jeff Riggs and Randy Riggs; and daughters Melissa Frederick and Virginia Riggs. LouAnn is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
