Lorraine Wagness died peacefully on Friday, March 20th, with daughter, Kit, and dog, Thomas, at her side. She taught in Seattle Schools for 40 years, and was very active in the community until the last two months: WSSRA, SSRA, Delta Kappa Gamma, Lions, Kiwanis, Garden Club, Women's Club.

Lorraine was the twin of Lois Robbins, and sister to Jean Peterson and Marion Andrews. Parents were Laura Starr Nattrass and William Barclay Nattrass. Husband was Lee Wagness. Daughter and son-in-law: Kit & George Remson. Nieces & nephews: Greg Robbins, Heidi Wegner, Larry Peterson, Rick Peterson, Brad & Brian Peterson, Dave Andrews, Lori Daniels, Scott Andrews. Her former husband was Chick Vance, and many relatives are from that side of Kit's family.

May Lorraine rest in peace and know how much she was loved while here on Earth.

Memorial in Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church on April 4th at 2:00pm. Donations can be made in her name to Shorewood Elementary School or to Shorewood PTA After-School Art Program Scholarship Fund.
