Lois E. Robb, age 71, died peacefully with her family by her side on Sat. March 28th after a brief illness.
She was born to Alex and Ingrid Thompson on Dec. 13th 1943, in Mount Vernon, Washington. She graduated from Twin City High School in 1962. After graduation, Lois began beauty school in Seattle. She married Bob Fisher in 1964 and had two boys Jeff and Greg. She later worked at Josephine Sunset Home in various positions for 35 years, retiring in 2011.
She married Al Robb in September 2013. They spent time traveling on an Alaska Cruise, down the Oregon/California Coast and most recently Arizona. Lois' hobbies included shopping with close friends, traveling with her husband Al, and watching her grandchildren's sporting events. Lois was preceded in death by parents Alex and Ingrid Thompson and two brothers, John and Ray Ware, all from Stanwood.
Lois was a member of Freeborn Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Ladies Auxiliary Eagles 3041 and worked diligently on the scholarship committee.
Lois is survived by her loving husband Alan; children Jeff (children Emily, Alexa and Aaron) and Greg (Tracy, children Brooke and Mason). She also leaves behind niece Cindy Heath (Denny, children Craig (Kady) and Cody). Her two step-children Ken Robb and Desi Burden (Keith, children Keisha (Chris), and great granddaughter Violet.
Services for Lois will be Friday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood.
Memorials may be made to Seattle Children's Orthopedic Hospital.
