Lois Ann Hundley passed away at home on Camano Island on June 7, 2025, after a brief hospital stay, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old.

Lois was born on October 9, 1936 in Toledo, WA. to Walter and Katie Lampitt. Lois went on to graduate from Western Washington College of Education in Bellingham. She met and married Donald (Don) at college. Don and Lois eventually settled down on Camano Island to raise their family. Lois began her second career as a third-grade teacher in the Stanwood-Camano School district and later retired after 30 years. Don and Lois enjoyed 61 years of marriage before Don's passing in 2017. Lois enjoyed children, every holiday season, puzzle books, and cooking for her family. Lois was an avid crocheter and enjoyed creating colorful blankets, pillows, and misc. items. and giving them away to her loved ones.

Lois is preceded in death by her mother; father; husband, Donald; and daughter, Carolyn. She is survived by her children; Ron (Kelly), Roger (Vikki), Randy, and Cathy; grandchildren, Trinity and Magdelina; and brother Jim (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service. The family would like to thank Hospice and Home Instead for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Hospice or charity of choice. Arrangements under the direction of Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood, WA.
