Linda Eileen Sund 73 of Stanwood died Sunday, November 10, 2013 following and extended illness.
She was born April 15, 1940 in Everett, Washington to Nolan and Erma Leque.
Linda and her family have lived in the Snohomish County for the past thirty years.
She enjoyed Skiing, Gardening, Reading Traveling and Most Important her Family.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Silvana, Laureate Beta XI, Daughter of Norway, Eastern Star, and Red Hat Society of Camano Island.
Linda was preceded in death by her Parents Nolan and Erma Leque, Brothers Robert and Gary Leque and sister Beverly Kerns.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Robert of Stanwood, Son Brent and Stacy Sund of Olympia, daughter Jenifer Sund of Stanwood, one sister Donna Dickey of Camano Island, four grandchildren; Amy, Andrew, Haley, and Gunnar two great grandchildren; Henry and Adella, also numerous niece, nephews and cousins in Washington, and Norway.
The family would like a special thanks to Pastor Jerry Hefty and to The Everett Providence Doctors and Staff for their Compassion and Care for Linda.
A visitation will be held Thursday November 14, 2013 from 9am to 5 pm at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood.
Memorial services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Silvana at 1:00 P.M. Friday
November 15, 2013.
Private graveside services will be held at the Fir Conway Lutheran Cemetery, Milltown, WA
In lieu of flower memorials may be made to the Cystic fibrosis foundation.
