Obituary
On January 10, 2017 Laverta Vivian Piickett went home to be with the Lord. She was born July 6, 1938 in Cotton Plant Arkansas and was one of 14 children born of Marion and Maude Miller
Laverta is survived by her son Wesley Pickett, her daughter Dana Pickett, her grandson Dakota Lunceford, granddaughter Madeline Lunceford, brother Marion Miller, sisters' Barbara Turner, Thelma Lewis and Marva Moore.
Laverta is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews
Moving to Minneapolis MN where she married James M. Pickett, then eventually settling into the Seattle area where she worked for Seattle First Bank, then on to work for Safco Insurance where she would retire. She loved to cook, and we will never forget her sweet potato pie. She also loved going to church and reading the Bible.
