Kenneth Jorgenson, 93, of Stanwood WA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2017. Ken was born on July 29, 1923 in rural Marshall County Minnesota, the 2nd oldest of 10 boys. His family is very proud of his WWII service where he was an Army Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. Ken was wounded in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944 and received a Purple Heart.

Ken married June Van de Streek on March 8, 1959. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 58 years June, sons Paul and wife Gwen (Phoenix, AZ), Brian (North Branch, MN), Gary and wife Tammy (Stanwood, WA), grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Alicia, Blake and great grandchildren Roman, Ireland, Aria, and Olivia.

Ken loved hunting and fishing, was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader for his 3 boys.

Memorial Services will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood WA, Saturday July 1st at 10:00 am. A celebration of Ken's life will follow the service in the courtyard of the Village Commons Condominium in Stanwood
