Kenneth "Ken" Arthur
Ken was born on August 30, 1921 in Deer Lodge, Montana to Bill and Marie Arthur. February 13, 2010 he broke the bondage of pain of Alzheimer's Disease to the arms of our Heavenly Father. He enjoyed golf, basketball, football and boxing participating in all of them. He was dad to a blended family of eleven children; 31 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ken served in World War II from 1940 until 1945 in the 163rd Infantry, 41st Division earning a Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars and many other Medals. After the war he was a correctional officer at the Montana State Prison, he held a professional law degree as well as an insurance investigator. Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 11:00 am at Gilbertson Funeral Home with Military Honors. Ken will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Thank you to Providence Hospice, Josephine Sunset Home, Stanwood Camano Clinic Staff and friends, who have walked this journey with Ken for so many years.
