On Tuesday February 16th Kathy (Kathleen) McCurdy loving wife, other, Grandmother & Great Grandmother, Aunt, mom to many, friend, & daughter passed away at the age of 77.

Kathy was born May 13, 1943 in Trenton, New Jersey to Joseph & Sophie Mueller. Kathy was their one miracle baby. She truly was a miracle to many. After graduation college she was swept off her feet by a Navy man. A favorite saying of Kathy's was "Hey sailor, new in town?" They moved to the west coast where she started a family and moved around being a Corp of Engineers wife. Kathy always worked in the medical field. She was a lab tech, X-ray tech and also an EMT driving an ambulance. Her work was very important to her. She loved her job and was loved dearly by her patients. Her hugs were contagious, she loved life to the fullest and had so many who loved her too. Very special lady. After retiring, Kathy and Harold moved to Camano Island where she was involved with the community volunteering at the thrift store. She also participated in Beta Sigma Phi sorority for the past 30 years. She was also a member of the Camano Island Country Club where she really enjoyed water aerobics.

Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents, loving husband Harold McCurdy. She leaves behind two children Craig & Mitzi McCurdy of Silverlake, WA and Shari & Craig Kramer of Camano Island, WA, 3 grandchildren Hilaeri and Tom Timmins, Alex Kramer and Oliver McCurdy and 1 great grandchild Ophelia Timmins.

A memorial service will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood, WA at 1pm on the 20th of March.
