Katherine (Kay) Wells, 85, of Stanwood, Washington, happily went to meet her creator on December 06, 2020. We are certain the Lord greeted her with open arms and said "Job well done faithful servant." Kay was born May 30, 1935 in Aurora, Missouri to Bill and Lucille Donica. After graduating college, she got her first teaching job at Riverdale High School in Port Byron, Illinois. She met Royal Wells and in 1960 they were married and she became in instant awesome mom to his 2 children, Steve and Cindy. Kay and Royal had 2 children together, Andrea and Kristen. In 1969, Kay took a teaching job at PHS and taught there until 1981. After leaving the teaching profession, she moved to Kona, Hawaii and worked in the missionary field. Kay spent time traveling all over Asia, smuggling bibles into China, and sharing her love for Jesus. She then moved to Washington State and remained there until her death. Kay is survived by her 3 daughters, Cindy (Mark) Lauer, Andrea (Tim) Jenkins, and Kristen (Alvin) Leorna, and many beloved grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Royal, son, Steve and grandson, Eli. We love you and you will be greatly missed.
