Obituary

Judith Louise (Hall) Ortega "Judy" of Stanwood Washington passed away from natural causes on December 24th, 2019 at University of Washington Medical Center. She was 68 years old.

Judy was born on November 1st, 1951 in Wendell, Idaho to Emma Mae (Eichholz) and Van Toy Hall. She spent her young life growing up in Glenns ferry ID with her brothers Bob and Bill and her sisters Lois and Beverly. She would often talk about growing up in a large family, loving, sharing, and arguing the way siblings do. Judy carried the love of family throughout the rest of her life. She also carried a love of cooking, fishing, and Seattle Seahawks football. Throughout her life, she put others first.

One of her favorite things to do was to volunteer with Special Olympics. She started doing this when her own children were participating. Judy inspired athletes to be their best. She also enjoyed sewing and making crafts for people that she loved. Judy made the most beautiful birdhouses and Christmas stockings.

Judy leaves behind 3 children Josh Ortega, Tony Ortega, and April Johnson (Kristopher) in Stanwood, and 3 grandchildren Elizabeth Swavely, Ruby and Sabatien Johnson. Judy leaves behind her sisters Lois Hall Kirkwood and Beverly Hall Mountain both in Meridian ID and her brother Robert Hall of Glenns ferry ID. She also leaves 2 sad puppies behind, Sophie and Tyson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Ortega, her brother Bill Hall, and her son Bryan Fowers.

Heaven is ready to welcome you Mom, rest peacefully.
