IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith A
Lervick
April 9, 1942 – December 13, 2024
Judith A Lervick, age 82, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 13, 2024.
Judy was born in Everett WA on April 9, 1942. She lived almost the entirety of her life in Stanwood. She graduated from Stanwood High School in 1960. In 1962 she married Arne DeWayn Lervick, and they moved to Lake Goodwin. In December of 1962 Cindy was born and in July of 1967 Vicky was born. Judy lived in her beloved lake house for 60 years.
Judy had many hobbies and interests throughout her life. She loved baking pies, cookies and treats for family and friends. Her lemon bars and lemon sauce were famous! She was in a walking group for 20 years; she worked out for 20+ years with her good friend Les and she played in the Lakewood Bunco group for years. Judy loved shopping and lunch with girlfriends. She spent many hours tending to her yard, garden beds and flowerpots. She was very proud of her volunteer work with MOPS and working in the church kitchen during celebrations and funerals. Judy loved her church and church family.
Judy's favorite volunteer day was Gaga Tuesdays. When grandson Keegan was born in August of 1994, every Tuesday was spent with Keegan. When granddaughter Kirsty was born in February of 1997, double the fun, joy and memories were made on Gaga Tuesdays.
Life at Lake Goodwin was extra special when the grandkids visited. There were sleepovers, adventure walks, boat rides and swimming. Gaga always heated towels in the dryer for the kids to dry off with…even the dogs! The 4th of July was always a special holiday with family and friends, the annual boat parade, lots of food and fireworks.
Judy is survived by daughters Cindy (Robert) Moger, Vicky (Kevin) Keitges, grandchildren Keegan and Kirsty Keitges, and God-daughter Madeleine West. Very special people in Judy's life are Steve and Lisa Anderson and family, Will and Terri Osbrink and long-time neighbor Ron Smith. Judy has multiple nieces and nephews that she so loved. Judy was known as Auntie Jude to them.
Judy is proceeded in death by her parents Robert Hanson, Ole and Irene Snartemo, her sister Cathy Seay, her long-time best friend 'Buddy' Sue Simonson and very special neighbor Sue Ann Smith.
A heartfelt thank you to Violeta Sandu, owner of Yorkshire Homestead in Everett, WA and the kind, steady, caring staff who work there. Thank you also to Providence Hospice.
Family, friends and others whose lives Judy touched are invited to a memorial service at Our Saviours Lutheran Church (27201 99th Ave NW, Stanwood WA 98292) on January 11, 2025 at 1 pm. A private family burial will be held immediately before. Judy's favorite color is yellow. Please feel free to wear something yellow or bright and cheery in honor of her sparkling personality.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Saviours Lutheran Church (PO Box 370, Stanwood WA 98292) or Housing Hope, Attn: Lervick Family Village (5830 Evergreen Way, Everett WA 98203)
Judy was known by many names: daughter, sister, friend, Mom, Jude, Jude Jude, Gugs, Gagalicious but her favorite was GaGa.
Time spent with Judy had grace. Every moment spent with her was a gift.
