Judith Claire Halverson passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026.  Judy was born on February 14,1937 to William & Esther Sundberg in Stanwood and lived there her whole life except for a period of four years when she lived on Samish Island with her daughter and son-in-law. Her four daughters were fortunate when growing up to have a stay-at-home mom that was always there for them. She was a great cook and loved to bake. All her daughters' friends always knew where the snack corner was with home baked goods when they visited. Judy was predeceased by her husband Ben Halverson in 2014. She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Rick) Chavez, Terresa Henriot, Tina (Terry)Troutvine and Traci (Mike) Bailey, grandchildren Marisa, Christina & Jacqueline Chavez, David & Anthony Troutvine, Brandon & Dylan Bailey and six great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers Dick (Margie) Sundberg and Rod (Kay) Sundberg, sister-in-law Margaret Larson along with several nieces and nephews. She was a sweet, kind and loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother and she will be greatly missed
