Jerome was the third of four sons born to Phillip and Viola Henebry on May 8, 1933.  He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Peoria, Illinois then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served four years.
There he gained valuable training and experience in air traffic control.  This served him well in his 34 year career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Soon after his eldest daughter was born.  As he advanced in his career and moved to Hanford, California where his second daughter was born.  The family made its final move back to the Pacific Northwest in the early 1970's.
A natural animated storyteller "Charlie Brown" lived to share tales that made people laugh and brought family and friends together.  He was a lifetime avid fisherman that spanned from fishing Neah Bay for big kings to catching Kokanee in Lake Roosevelt.  In later years he took up golf and moved to Camano Island, Washington where he became a member of Camaloch Golf Men's Club.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia L. Henebry, with whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.   Together they raised two daughters, Laura Drager (Alan) of Oldtown, Idaho and Sandy Abel (Steve) of Stanwood, Washington.
He is also survived by his brother Mike Henebry, his grandchildren, Carlee Gregson (Matthew) and Damon Abel, and his great-grandson, Mason Gregson, along with many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
