IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey Daniel
O'Donnell
February 24, 1964 – January 7, 2026
Jeffrey Daniel O'Donnell, 61, of Stanwood, WA passed away Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at Skagit Valley Hospital. Born February 24th, 1964 in Fort Ord, CA, the eldest son of Daniel and Ann O'Donnell. He spent most of his early life growing up in Everett, attending Everett Schools and graduating from Everett High School in 1982. Following that, he attended Everett Community College where he played soccer, and Washington State University, where he was a proud brother of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He reconnected with a bunch of his brothers during COVID through virtual happy hours and cherished his trips with them to Lake Pend Oreille the past couple years. He worked for many years with his father Dan in his masonry business in Smokey Point. He met his wife, Tammy Lervick, in 1987 and married in 1990. They just celebrated their 35th Anniversary in December. Jeff started working for his wife's family business, Twin City Foods, Inc., in 1991 and was a field supervisor and representative until 2022.
Jeff was most proud of his family. He and Tammy welcomed twin sons, Kyle and Brian, in 1994 and they were his pride and joy. Jeff was a staple in the Stanwood Community, coaching his sons in youth Baseball, youth Basketball, and Football, until they graduated high school. Some of his closest friends came from coaching. He served students at Cedarhome Elementary School popcorn every Friday, as part of the dynamic duo of Poppy (Jim Bustad) and Corny. Jeff was a legend at all Central Washington University football games, as he had claimed the parking spot next to the entrance, so he could tailgate with anyone who would walk by. He always had warm food and a cold beverage for anyone who'd share with him. In 2021, Jeff became a grandfather. His four grandchildren were the love of his life. He would FaceTime them every night.
Jeff loved to golf, hunt, fish, travel, and tell stories about all his adventures. He started the Stanwood Chapter of Ducks Unlimited in 1993. He caddied many years for his father-in-law, Roger Lervick, at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in Palm Springs. He loved to come home and share about all the celebrities he got to meet. Jeff was a member of Skagit Golf and Country Club for more than 30 years. He served on the Central Washington University Foundation Board as the only member who was not an alumni, from 2020 until he passed. Jeff loved Saint Patrick's Day, Christmas, and any other holiday where family was together. He loved traveling to Palm Springs, Sun Valley, Hawaii, and abroad. Jeff was an avid Seahawks, Mariners, and Everett Silvertips fan, where he was a season ticket holder since their inaugural season.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Dan, brother Steven, and father-in-law Roger Lervick. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, coach, and friend. He was generous, had an enormous heart, and would do whatever it took to put a smile on your face. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, mother Ann, brother Christopher (Karoline) O'Donnell, mother-in-law Linda Lervick, sons Kyle (Sarah) and Brian (Payton) O'Donnell, four grandchildren Harper, Henry, Indie and Scottie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends - whom he cared deeply for. A big thank you goes to all the doctors, nurses, and aides that took care of him.
There will be a memorial service held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanwood on February 21st at 11am, followed by a Celebration of Life at Shawn O'Donnell's Farmhouse in Skagit County.
