Jeanette Louise Thomsen 79, a resident of Mount Vernon, WA passed

away at Skagit Valley Hospital on September 29th, 2021.

Jeanette was born on December 15,1941 in Sedro-Woolley Washington to Dorwin and Elva Jones.

Jeanette attended Skagit Valley College in the Associate Degree of Nursing Program. She graduated in June 1985. With her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse complete, she began her career at Skagit Valley Hospital. She loved her work and her many friends. She retired in 2006.

Jeanette is survived by her son Danny (Donna) Gilfillan of Mount Vernon, Daughter Tammy Smith-Hoyle of Concrete, Step-son Ken (Teri) Thomsen of Burlington, sister Maxine Gow of Mount Vernon and brother Clarence Jones of Marblemount and many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her cats Maverick & Buttercup.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Loren L. Thomsen, her parents Dorwin and Elva Jones, her daughter Sandy Camby, sisters Elvira Willamson & Linda VanRensum and her brother Dorwin Ray Jones.

Her ashes will be placed next to Loren's at Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery in Stanwood. A small portion of ashes will be interred next to her parents at Clear Lake Cemetery. Services will be held at a later date.
