IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James P
Wright
January 2, 1948 – April 21, 2024
Born on January 02, 1948, to Clifford and Betty Wright in Seattle, WA. Jim passed away at his home on Camano Island where he lived for 34 years. Jim was a loving husband to Muriel for 46 years, father to Michael, and grandfather to Chelsee, Dustin, and Madison. Jim is survived by his sister Barbara Rucker and her family.
Jim served in the US Marines during the Vietnam Campaign and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, Rifle Expert Badge, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Jim went on to work in the Aerospace Industry as an Electrician for 35 years. He was a member of the Seattle Cossacks, a Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team from 1974 to 1990. There he enjoyed traveling and performing throughout the US and riding with other team members. His joy of motorcycling also took him throughout the US with family, friends, and other motorcycle groups.
From there he went into boating throughout the Puget Sound, enjoying the Seafair Hydroplane races and traveling as far as Nanaimo, Canada. Jim Wright will be terribly missed by all.
