James Vondis Church passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 12, 2017. He was 84 years young. He was proud of his military service in the Airforce and his lifetime occupation of truck driving where his family and friends will remember his never ending truck driving stories. He was married to Joye Clyde for 54 years and they spent their lives living on Camano Island where they raised their children on their 60 acre ranch surrounding their kids with cattle, horses, and more animals than one can remember. He is survived by his wife Joye, his daughters Karen Church and Zach Morris, Sandy and Chris Anderson, Patty and Phil Evans, and grandsons Joel, Brenden and Stefani, Deven, Tristen, Jeremy and granddaughters Jennifer and Daria.
