Inabel Slayton passed away on August 22, 2023.

Inabel was born in Bear Creek, Montana on May 19, 1932. She was the daughter of Charles Chamness and Lotta Heaven. At age three they moved to Arlington, Washington where she went to school and later met and married Robert Slayton. Together they raised a family of 2 boys Robert Lynn, and Mark Wayne, 2 girls, Kathleen Marie Rose and Janice Kay.

Inabel was preceded in death by her husband Robert of 40 years, her sons Mark and Lynn (Robert), and daughter Kathleen Marie Rose.

She leaves behind Janice Kay Slayton of Marysville.

Siblings include: Sisters Alice "San" Nelson (deceased), Margery Kosky of Arlington, brother James Chamness of Arlington, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
