Dear Helen,

We miss you. But for all that loved you, all that you loved, you will be forever at our side.

You lived your life with bravery, determination, joy, and a passion for adventure. You loved music, art, flowers, and animals.

When we are faced with challenges, we will find strength in the lessons you taught us; know your heart, have faith, work hard, and fight fiercely.

When we are sad, we will feel you sitting quietly beside us, listening, comforting, wrapping us in your compassion.

When we walk in the forest or sit by the sea, we'll see you dancing up the path, running in the waves; beckoning us to follow, to find excitement in what might be around the next bend, or lying just below the surface.

Most of all you lived your life with love. Love of family, friends, and those you did not even know when they came your way needing hope and a hand. It is a lesson you taught by living it. It was your way, your greatest gift.

You have started down a new path now. You set out unafraid, caring only for those who could not yet make the journey with you. You said goodbye to your children; Tina, Bobby, Shilo, Cheyenne, Arin, and Mariah, to your grandchildren; Jerremiah Mikki Moxley, Ivy Rose Thayer, Shali Marie Street, Violet Jade Marie Thayer, Lillianna Cassia Thayer, Kiara Baeyln Bedker, Charly Jo Anne Bedker, Riley Jean Mikki Cleator, Joshua Bodine Cleator, Damon Lippert, Jacob Lippert-Brown, William Thompson, Jacob Thompson, and John Thompson. And to countless friends whose lives you made richer.
