IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gus
Zotos
January 28, 1940 – September 3, 2025
Gus (Konstandinos) Zotos, 85, of Everett, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at home in the arms of his beloved wife, Diane, of 57 years and surrounded by loved ones. Born January 28, 1940 in Peqin, Albania, Gus was a devoted husband and a proud and loving father to his children Christie, Dino, Stacy and Alex.
Gus spent his early years between his hometown, Peqin, and his family's village Sopiki, until he was finally able to immigrate to Seattle with the help and guidance of the Semandiris family. There, he was reunited with his eldest sister, Antigoni, and her son Phil, who was not only his nephew but one of his best friends. He was a hardworking man who was known throughout Everett in the 80s as the owner of Alexanders Restaurant and Lounge, which he ran with his wife and business partner, Diane, for 11 years. Gus was an avid soccer player in his youth and played for numerous teams in the Seattle area as well as San Fransico. He cherished the simple things in life like working in his yard, enjoying Greece's beauty and cuisine while in the company of his extended family and spending time with his beloved grandchildren Chrisi, Konstandinos, Christian and 'little' Gus, which he considered to be his ultimate riches.
Gus will be greatly missed, especially his charm and humor, but the family finds comfort that his legacy lives on through his generosity and a lifetime of memories that his family will always cherish.
The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church, 2100 Boyer Ave E Seattle, WA 98112. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
