IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Golda M
Rosvall
May 2, 1935 – January 10, 2023
Golda was born in Twisp, WA on May 2, 1935 to Courtland and Virginia McCain. She was raised in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School.
Golda eventually moved to Stanwood and married the love of her life, Loren Rosvall, on December 3, 1966. They resided on Loren's family farm in the Cedarhome area raising their five children and farming until 1991. Golda and Loren were avid bird hunters and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping trips with family and friends. She worked at O'Brien's Turkey House for many years. After retiring they moved to Winthrop. Golda loved Winthrop and the Methow Valley where she grew up. She shared her passion for the valley, its history and people by volunteering for many years at the Shafer Museum. She enjoyed gardening, growing beautiful flowers and roses. They later became snowbirds and loved spending winters at their home in Florence, AZ. She enjoyed exploring the desert, growing citrus trees, trips to the casino, and peaceful times on their deck enjoying the beautiful scenery, and watching the birds and Arizona wildlife. She was an avid reader and loved talking with anyone she would meet. She also loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Family was very important to her. After her beloved husband Loren passed she returned to Stanwood to be closer to family and friends.
We will all remember her for her spunk, laughter, strength, and love of family and friends.
Golda is survived by her sister Diane (Ed) Dartnell, daughter Bernetta (Dick) Killingsworth, son Bob (Anita) Campbell, daughter Karla Savage; seven grandchildren: Erika (Jeff) Lervick, Briana (Michael) Short, Erin (Aaron) Estill, Ryan (Jessica) Titera, Shelby (Andrew) Dronen, Holly (Darius) Thornton, Leanna Bell, and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loren, daughters Mickey Christianson and Julie Bell, grandson Guy Christianson, and numerous relatives.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
